Gina

Having always felt an affinity for animals, Gina initially began working in a local vaccination clinic in 2011. While working there she learned about an opening at Animal Wellness Clinic of Tamarac. She joined our team in September 2014 and has a special interest in veterinary treatment and preventive care. Being a compassionate person by nature, she can’t stand seeing a suffering pet without a home. That’s how she met Ruby - skinny and malnourished on the street. It was a hard time when Ruby was diagnosed with bone cancer in December 2013.

Juan

Juan joined Animal Wellness Clinic of Tamarac in December 2009. He is a final year student at Broward College majoring in Biological Sciences. Juan is extremely compassionate with patients, and he is truly gifted with animals. Giving hope and saving lives is what makes veterinary medicine special for Juan. Juan has a beautiful small mix Maltese named Sofia that he is very much fond of.

Vered

Vered is a Head Veterinary Technician of Animal Wellness Clinic of Tamarac since 2013. She has been working in and out of the veterinary field from wildlife to small animals for the past 19 years. Vered is a graduate of the Florida School of Medical Arts majoring in veterinary technology (1995-1997). In 1997 Vered has been certified as a Veterinary Technician. Since 1999 she is licensed as a State & Federal Wildlife Rehabilitator. From 1995-2004 Vered worked in Wildlife Care Center in Fort Lauderdale.

Rita

Raised in Fort Lauderdale, Rita joined the team of Animal Wellness Clinic of Tamarac in June 2015. After graduating high school, she served in the Army and continued to serve as a federal contractor supporting the government for 11 years. In 2013, she moved from Washington, DC to South Florida to be closer to her family. Rita always has had a passion for caring for animals but never dared to dream that she could to make her passion a new career. But things happen for a reason. Her GI bill paid for her school.
