Nessa has been working as an Office Manager at Animal Wellness Clinic of Tamarac since September 2011. She is a versatile person and a great asset to our clinic. Namely, her sociability and strong administrative knowledge enable her to communicate effectively at all staff levels, as well as manage changes and additions to the clinic. She delegates staff duties and is always happy to help in different aspects of the clinic as needed.

Lauren

Before moving to Florida in 1996, Lauren had been working in the hospitality industry in large hotels in Manhattan, New York, where she polished her excellent customer service skills. From 1996 to 2009 Lauren worked with kids with disabilities. As a child, she loved petting turtles, dogs, and kittens; she has been a big pet lover her entire life. Moreover, Lauren always had a special interest in learning and expanding her knowledge about pet care behavior, and that's how she ended up becoming a part of one of the best veterinary clinics in the Fort Lauderdale area.

Miriam

Miriam started grooming when she got her own dog and later, she started bathing and grooming pets for her friends and neighbors back in Kansas in 1985. When the time came to choose a career, it was just natural that she pursues a job as a groomer in the local veterinarian’s office. Having grown a big number of happy clients, she would continue working as a private groomer on the weekends and evenings. In the early 2000s, Miriam met Patrick. Pat liked to hang out around Miriam. He learned to groom while watching Miriam and helping her.

Carmen

Born in the Bronx, Carmen went to New York City Community College and Hunter College. She worked as a Realtor for 15 years. Carmen moved to the Fort Lauderdale area in 2006 to be closer to her son, daughter, and grandchildren. Carmen has always loved animals and had what has been referred to as a “house zoo,” owning at the same time snakes, lizards, fifty different birds, four iguanas, massive turtles, and dogs.
